Tordera is a Catalan town in the province of Barcelona in northeastern Spain . It is located in the Comarca Maresme on the river of the same name .
Culture and sights
Even if the neighboring tourist towns of Blanes and Palafolls on the Costa Brava are only about six kilometers away, tourism does not play a role in Tordera. The main attraction is the Church of San Esteve. The Romanesque-Gothic church from the 16th century bears the year 1803 at the main entrance, which refers to the last renovation of the church.
Economy and Transport
Tordera is connected to the city of Barcelona via the Rodalies Barcelona railway line (line 1). Tordera is located directly on the motorway-like N-II , which merges into the C-32 motorway to Barcelona in the neighboring town of El mas Carbo .
