Canet de Mar has a stop on the R1 local transport line of Rodalies Barcelona on the Barcelona – Mataró – Maçanet-Massanes route . The trains run every 15 minutes during rush hour and every half hour during the rest of the time. The city of Barcelona can be reached in around 50 minutes.

Trunk roads

The city has a junction with the C-32 motorway that connects Barcelona with Blanes . In addition, the place is on the N-II , one of the former national roads of Spain and part of the E 15 .
