Caldes d'Estrac , also known as Caldetas , is a Catalan municipality in the province of Barcelona in northeastern Spain . It is in the Comarca of Maresme .

Caldes d'Estrac is located about 40 kilometers northeast of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast , on the so-called Costa del Maresme .

Culture and sights

The Fundació Palau Foundation was established in 2003 and named after the painter and art collector Josep Palau i Oller and his son Josep Palau i Fabre .
