Trans Swiss Trail

Trans Swiss Trail is the name of a long-distance hiking trail through Switzerland with a length of 488 kilometers. It leads in 32 stages from Pruntrut ( Canton Jura ) in the north to Mendrisio ( Canton Ticino ) in the south.

You are on foot for a month and get to know different landscapes, cultures and sights. All stage locations can be reached by public transport and offer accommodation. Via the website of the SwitzerlandMobility Foundation , which is responsible for the national network of hiking trails, the route can be organized and luggage transport between the stages can be booked.
