Meeting point heart was a ZDF - entertainment show .

On June 14, 1975 (broadcast on October 4, 1975), Peter Alexander presented the big ZDF gala in support of the German Cancer Aid in the Cologne sports hall . It was also the starting signal for the German Cancer Aid under the patronage of Mildred Scheel at the time .

In this program, Peter Alexander presented a colorful mixture of music , sketches , singing and parody . 40 artists gathered in the Cologne sports hall for a good cause. The musical conferences by Hans Hubberten linked the program items in an incomparable way.

Well-known film and television greats acted even in the smallest roles. Under the overall direction of producer Wolfgang Rademann , show director Ekkehard Böhmer put the artists in the right light at this ZDF television event.

On July 16, 2006, on the occasion of Peter Alexander's 80th birthday, the show was broadcast repeatedly on ORF and ZDF.

Excerpts from the program were then released on record (Ariola 89 370 XT) and MusiCassette . The work, published under the title Treffpunkt Herz , was awarded a gold record in 1976.

On November 3rd, 2017 the show was released as a bonus DVD in the "Peter Alexander: The Specialties Show - Complete Box" by Alive - Vertrieb und Marketing.
