Luise Ullrich
Luise Ullrich (born October 31, 1910 as Aloisia Elisabeth Ullrich in Vienna , † January 21, 1985 in Munich ) was an Austrian actress.
Life
The daughter of a major was trained as an actress at the Vienna Academy for Music and Performing Arts at the age of 14 . In 1926 Luise Ullrich appeared for the first time in Vienna in the Volksbühne and a little later in the Burgtheater. In 1931 she moved to Berlin , where she was on the Volksbühne there , but shortly afterwards she went to the Staatstheater Berlin and finally to film. After a few short films, she starred in 1932 alongside Luis Trenker in Der Rebell . This was followed by roles in the Max Ophüls film adaptation of the Arthur Schnitzler work Liebelei (1933), in Willi Forst's Schubert biography Leise plead my songs and the film Regine (1935), in Vorstadtvarieté (1935), Shadows of the Past (1936) ), I love you (1938), Annelie (1941), Night Watch (1949) , To Throne and Love (1955), A Student Passed By (1960) and Rainer Werner Fassbinder 's five-part television series Eight Hours Are Not a Day (1972).
Ullrich also wrote several novels and the autobiography Komm auf die Schaukel, Luise (1973). In 1979 the actress was awarded the Gold Film Ribbon for her life's work .
Luise Ullrich was married from 1942 to Wulf-Diether Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen (1905–1980), whom she had met on a trip to South America and who was divorced from his first wife, a born princess of Hanau. The daughters Gabriela (* 1944) and Michaela (1945–2011) emerged from the connection. The latter was married to the doctor Bernd Rosemeyer (* 1937), the only son of Bernd Rosemeyer and Elly Beinhorn , from 1968 .
Luise Ullrich's grave is in the Grünwald forest cemetery near Munich.
