Troy is a city (with the status " City ") and the administrative seat of Lincoln County in US -amerikanischen State Missouri . In 2010 Troy had 10,540 inhabitants.

Troy is part of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area .

The city is located at 38 ° 58'46 "north latitude and 90 ° 58'51" west longitude and extends over 15.4 km². The Cuivre River , a right tributary of the Mississippi, flows along the northeastern outskirts of the city . About two kilometers northeast of Troy is the Cuivre River State Park , a 25.87 km² leisure and recreation area.
