Tvååkers IF is a Swedish football club from the southwestern Swedish Tätort Tvååker .

history

The club, founded in 1920, played for a long time only in the lower class of the Swedish league pyamides . After the team had already played fourth-rate for one season in 1995, but was relegated immediately, they returned to Sweden's fourth-highest division in 2011. In 2014 she just failed in the promotion race as runner-up behind Eskilsminne IF in her fourth division season, but in the following year she was one of the six champions of Division 2 . In the third division Division 1 , the team immediately played against relegation and ultimately ended the 2016 season in third from last place in the table and missed by one point the relegation place that fellow promoted FC Trollhättan occupied. Again, the club with Eskilsminne IF delivered the race for promotion, as the season winner, the team returned with a two point lead in Division 1. In the third division season 2018 , the team narrowly missed the march into the second-class Superettan , as third in the table two points were missing from the relegation place occupied by Oskarshamn's AIK .
