The line F is a line of New York City Subway and runs from Jamaica -179 Street on the IND Queens Boulevard Line , IND 63rd Street Line , IND Sixth Avenue Line , IND Culver Line to Coney Iceland - Stillwell Avenue . Since it runs on the trunk line under the Avenue of the Americas ("6th Av."), It has the line identification color orange and is also known as 6 Avenue Local . With a length of 43 km, it is the second longest route in the entire network.
