Explanation
Only nodes and end points are shown. Stations in bold are served at all times of the day.

The line E is a line of New York City Subway and runs from Jamaica Center-Parsons / Archer in Jamaica on the IND Archer Avenue Line , IND Queens Boulevard Line and IND Eighth Avenue Line to the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan . It is one of the main routes from Manhattan to LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International Airports .

Due to its trunk line under Eighth Avenue , it has the line color blue and is also known as 8 Avenue Local .

Despite its line designation as "Local", Line E only stops at selected stations ("Express") on a large part of its route during the day. This affects the section on the IND Queens Boulevard Line .

It runs around the clock. At night there are stops at all stations along the route.
