The US Highway 160 is a United States Highway in the United States with a length of 2,372 km.

It opened in 1930 and runs from west to east through five states:

1. Arizona: In Arizona , the highway begins in Tuba City and runs entirely within the boundaries of the Navajo Nation Reservation . The last place is Teec Nos Pos , where US Highway 64, which runs a little further south, branches off.

2. New Mexico: In New Mexico , the highway runs through the extreme northwest corner and is only 1.4 kilometers in length. There he opens up the Four Corners Monument , the only place in the USA where four states meet at one point.

3. Colorado: In Colorado , the highway reaches its highest point, the Wolf Creek Pass continental divide in the San Juan Mountains . Then he meets the Rio Grande in South Fork , which he follows through the Rio Grande County into the San Luis Valley to Alamosa . It ends temporarily in Walsenburg ( Huerfano County ) and runs as part of Interstate 25 south to Trinidad , from where it runs east again as Highway 160. Through Baca County , it runs south past its capital, Springfield (Colorado) , to the border with Kansas.

4. Kansas: In Kansas it runs in Haskell County a piece on the line of US Highway 83 south and crosses in the capital Sublette the US Highway 56 . In Meade County it is shared with US Highway 54 . It crosses Interstate 25 east of Wellington . He crosses the Arkansas River in Oxford, Sumner County . In the far east of Kansas it meets US Highway 400 in Crestline ( Cherokee County ) and leads north with it, reaching about 30 kilometers north of Pittsburg in Crawford County and then bends to the east.

5. Missouri: In Missouri the highway crosses Interstate 49 and reaches Springfield (Missouri), the only major city on its route. It continues a bit as part of US Highway 60 to the east and then leads a little further south, but parallel to Highway 60. He used to meet this again in Poplar Bluff , but since 2007 it has already ended southwest of it at the intersection with the one leading there US Highway 67 .
