The US Highway 64 (short US 64 ) is a United States highway in the United States . The highway begins in Arizona and runs through another four states to North Carolina . It was built in 1926 as one of the first US highways.

The highway begins near Teec Nos Pos on US 160 and runs east to New Mexico . In New Mexico it crosses a total of eight other highways and two interstate highways and runs through Farmington (New Mexico) . Then it runs through Oklahoma , where it crosses twenty highways and five interstates, and then into Arkansas . After Arkansas it runs through Memphis (Tennessee) , Chattanooga (Tennessee) and Raleigh (North Carolina) and ends at Whalebone Junction on US 158 / North Carlina Highway 12.
