Gommiswald is a municipality in the canton of St. Gallen . It is in the See-Gaster constituency .

The community of Gommiswald is about 4 km east of Uznach am Ricken . Since the merger in 2013, the political community has consisted of the villages of Ernetschwil , Gebertingen, Gommiswald, Ricken, Rieden and Uetliburg.
Local parishes
The community merged from Gommiswald, Ernetschwil and Rieden in 2013 has since consisted of the independent local communities Gommiswald-Dorf and Rieden . There is no corresponding local community for Ernetschwil, which was previously independent of Gommiswald from 1807 to 2012.
