Ulrich Forchner
Ulrich Forchner (born December 1, 1949 in Tauchlitz ) is a German caricaturist and graphic artist .
Life
Forchner completed a professional training as a landscape designer from 1966 to 1968 , from 1970 to 1975 he studied book design and applied graphics under Walter Schiller and Albert Kapr, among others at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences . Since then he has been a freelance artist working, he draws cartoons, cartoons , designed mail art and design, among other posters , posters and packaging (z. B. for Bambina ). His drawings are published in the magazine of the Süddeutsche Zeitung , in the Leipziger Volkszeitung , in Spiegel and Focus as well as on ZDF and MDR .
Ulrich Forchner lives and works in Leipzig , he is married to the commercial artist Christina Forchner-Wießner.
