Ulrike von Loeper (born February 7, 1985 ) is a German - South African photographer . The artist became known through her portrait photographs of actors , musicians and artists . She lives in Berlin .

Life

Ulrike von Loeper comes from a family from the Regenwalde district in Western Pomerania . She spent her childhood in South Africa , her youth in Berchtesgaden and lived in Hamburg from 2003 to 2012 . She completed her studies in Shanghai (2007), among other places .

Von Loeper took an early interest in art, especially photography and music . Both form a close interaction for von Loeper. She started with the analog Nikon F3 and only switched to digital photography late .
