The 1943/44 season was the eighth season of the Hungarian Ice Hockey League , the highest Hungarian ice hockey league . BKE Budapest became champion for the sixth time in the club's history .

mode

The championship was divided into four regional groups in the main round. The top five teams qualified for the final tournament, the winner of which became champions. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
