Ungerdorf was a municipality with 895 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in Styria . Since 2015 it has been merged with the municipalities of Labuch , Laßnitzthal , Nitscha and Gleisdorf as part of the municipal structural reform in Styria , and the new municipality continues to use the name “Gleisdorf”.

Ungerdorf is located in the Weiz district in the Austrian state of Styria . The community consisted of the only cadastral communities and village Ungerdorf.
history
The abolition of the manorial lords took place in 1848. The local community as an autonomous body was established in 1850. After the annexation of Austria in 1938, the community came to the Reichsgau Steiermark, 1945 to 1955 it was part of the British zone of occupation in Austria.
On January 1, 2015 Ungerdorf merged with the city of Gleisdorf as part of the Styrian community structural reform.

The community was a member of the Weiz-Gleisdorf energy region.

coat of arms was awarded with effect from September 1, 1990. Description of the coat of arms:
- "Shield quartered with red and silver, inside a taut, old Hungarian reflex arc with an arrow inserted diagonally to the right."

A 3.5 m high blue pyramid with a symbol with the European star circle has been marking a district of Ungerdorf near Gleisdorf at a height of 500 m since 2004, which was called Ungerdorfberg until then and is officially called Europaberg from then on .
