Unsolved (in German: Unresolved ) is an American television series , which premiered at the 2018 channels on February 27, USA Network had. Ten episodes were ordered for the first season. The series follows an anthology format, whereby each season should deal with a new unsolved criminal case. The first season is subtitled The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious BIG and accordingly deals with the dead rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious BIG and is based on the book Murder Rap: The Untold Story of Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations by Greg Kading.

The German synchronization was based on dialogue books by Alexander Löwe Philip Rohrbeck, Werner Böhnke , Matthias Müntefering and Edgar Möller. The dialogue director led Dennis Mohme.
