Unterwittelsbach is a village and district of Aichach in the district of Aichach-Friedberg , which belongs to the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria .

Unterwittelsbach is located in the Danube-Isar hill country and thus in the Lower Bavarian hill country , which belongs to the Alpine foothills , one of the main natural areas of Germany .

The Unterwittelsbach district is located about three kilometers northeast of the city center of Aichach.

Unterwittelsbach is named after the Wittelsbach, which is fed by a couple of ponds connected in series to the east of Unterwittelsbach, flows through Unterwittelsbach, turns to the west and flows west of Unterwittelsbach into the Tradtwiesengraben, which flows into the Paar as a right tributary northwest of Unterwittelsbach .

The federal highway 300 , from which Unterwittelsbach has its own exit Unterwittelsbach , runs in a loop to the northwest and west around Unterwittelsbach in a north-south direction .
