Uwe Schäfer is a German cameraman .

Life

Uwe Schäfer completed a degree in photography and film from 1979 to 1984 at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences. He began his career in the 1980s as a lighting technician, assistant and documentary cameraman. Since 1997 he has worked as a cameraman (DoP) in numerous film and television productions.

Schäfer is a member of the Cinematography Association (BVK).
