Víctor Manuel Ochoa Cadavid (born October 18, 1962 in Bello ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Cúcuta .

Life

Pope John Paul II ordained him a priest on July 5, 1986 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 24, 2006 titular bishop of San Leone and auxiliary bishop in Medellín . The episcopal ordination donated him to the Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops and president of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America , Giovanni Battista Re , the same year on April 1; Co- consecrators were Alberto Giraldo Jaramillo PSS , Archbishop of Medellín , and Beniamino Stella , Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia . As a motto he chose In Nomine Iesu Christi .

He was appointed Bishop of Málaga-Soatá on January 24, 2011, and was introduced to the office on March 5 of the same year.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Cúcuta on July 24, 2015 .
