Vega de Granada is a comarca in the Spanish province of Granada . The name comes from the Vega of the Genil River , the main river in the province of Granada, which also flows through the city of Granada . The comarca, like all comarcas in the autonomous community of Andalusia , was established with effect from March 28, 2003.
