The Alteglofsheim administrative community is located in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg and is formed by the following communities:
- Alteglofsheim , 3295 inhabitants, 13.22 km²
- Pfakofen , 1598 inhabitants, 15.29 km²
The administrative association is based in Alteglofsheim.
The community chairman is the mayor of Pfakofen, Reinhold Winter.
When it was founded on May 1, 1978, the administrative community had five member communities. Except for Alteglofsheim and Pfakofen, these were
- Hail city
- Köfering and
- Thalmassing .
With effect from January 1, 1980, the Thalmassing community was dismissed. The Hagelstadt community has not been a member of the administrative community since January 1st, 1994. As the third municipality, Köfering became a unified municipality with its own administration on January 1, 2002.
