Location of the administrative community Oederan in the district of central Saxony

The administrative community Sayda / Dorfchemnitz (until April 20, 2018 "Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Sayda") is an administrative community in the Free State of Saxony . It is located in the south of the district of central Saxony about 28 kilometers south of the district town of Freiberg and about 26 kilometers east of Marienberg . The landscape of the community area is located in the Eastern Ore Mountains on a plateau between the valleys of the Freiberg Mulde and the Flöha . The federal road 171 runs through the community area.
