Vincent Matthew Darius OP (born September 6, 1955 in Crochu , Grenada , † April 26, 2016 in New York City ) was a Grenadian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Saint George's in Grenada .

Life

Vincent Darius entered the religious order of the Dominicans and received on 28 June 1987, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 10, 2002, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Saint George's in Grenada . The bishop emeritus of Saint George's in Grenada, Sydney Anicetus Charles , donated him episcopal ordination on October 2 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Castries , Kelvin Edward Felix , and the Bishop of Nottingham , Malcolm McMahon OP.

Bishop Darius died at Bellevue Hospital in New York City.
