Election to the Swedish Parliament in 1958
The election to the Second Chamber of the Swedish Reichstag in 1958 was an early election , which was brought about by a vote defeat of the Social Democratic government in parliament on their draft for a new pension system. It was held on June 1, 1958 and was the last parliamentary election in Swedish history that did not take place in September.
The social democrat Tage Erlander was again prime minister after the election.
