The constituency of Austria under the Enns 47 was a constituency for the elections to the House of Representatives in the Austrian crown land of Austria under the Enns . The electoral district was created in 1907 with the introduction of the Reichsrat election regulations and existed until the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy .
history
After the Reichsrat had decided on the general, equal, secret and direct male suffrage in autumn 1906, the major reform of the electoral law through the sanctioning of Emperor Franz Joseph I came into effect on January 26, 1907 . With the new Reichsrat election order, a total of 516 electoral districts were created, with one member being elected in each constituency with the exception of Galicia in the course of the Reichsrat election. The member of parliament has to prevail with an absolute majority in the first ballot or in a runoff election. The constituency of Austria under the Enns 47 comprised the judicial districts of Sankt Peter in der Au , Haag and Waidhofen an der Ybbs , whereby the municipality of Waidhofen an der Ybbs belonging to the constituency 41 was excluded from the constituency.
In the 1907 Reichsrat election , Josef Stöckler ( Christian Social Party ) emerged victorious with 82 percent of the votes in the first ballot. Stöckler was able to successfully defend his mandate in the 1911 Reichsrat election with 72 percent.
elections
The presentation of the election results is based on the information provided by the k .k. Figures issued by the Central Statistical Commission , which are focused on the party position of the candidates. In some cases, candidates of the same party status were shown separately, in some cases they were added together. Therefore, the figures given for the candidates in the first ballot may also contain (low) votes from other candidates of the same party position (see notes).

- ↑ According to the Christlichsozialer Arbeiter-Zeitung and the New Free Press, Rebischer received 646 votes. It is possible that the number of votes shown by the election statistics of 687 votes still contains votes from other candidates. Rebischer is also referred to in the newspaper reports as a candidate for the German People's Party.

- ↑ According to "Der Bauernbündler", Sengstbratl received 1,398 votes.
- ↑ According to the Christlichsozialer Arbeiter-Zeitung, Lohner received only 1246 votes, according to the later published "Der Bauernbündler" 1402 votes. It therefore seems likely that the number of votes shown by the election statistics for the Social Democrats of 1398 votes all came from wages.
