The constituency of Austria under the Enns 30 was a constituency for the elections to the House of Representatives in the Austrian crown land of Austria under the Enns . The electoral district was created in 1907 with the introduction of the Reichsrat election regulations and existed until the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy .
history
After the Reichsrat had decided on the general, equal, secret and direct male suffrage in autumn 1906, the major reform of the electoral law through the sanctioning of Emperor Franz Joseph I came into effect on January 26, 1907 . With the new Reichsrat election order, a total of 516 electoral districts were created, with one member being elected in each constituency with the exception of Galicia in the course of the Reichsrat election. The member of parliament has to prevail with an absolute majority in the first ballot or in a runoff election. The constituency of Austria under the Enns 30 comprised the eastern part of the 18th Viennese district of Währing , more precisely the part of the district east of the Leitmayergasse, Schopenhauerstraße, Kutschgergasse, Edelhofgasse, Michaelerstraße and Gymnasiumstraße.
From the Imperial Council election in 1907 was Ludwig Tomola ( Christian Social Party ) emerged as the winner. He could not defend his mandate in the Reichsrat election in 1911 and was defeated by Wilhelm Pollauf in the runoff election.
Election results
The presentation of the election results is based on the information provided by the k .k. Figures issued by the Central Statistical Commission , which are focused on the party position of the candidates. In some cases, candidates of the same party status were shown separately, in some cases they were added together. Therefore, the figures given for the candidates in the first ballot may also contain (low) votes from other candidates of the same party position (see notes).
