The constituency of Austria under the Enns 20 was a constituency for the elections to the House of Representatives in the Austrian crown land of Austria under the Enns . The electoral district was created in 1907 with the introduction of the Reichsrat election regulations and existed until the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy .

history

After the Reichsrat had decided on the general, equal, secret and direct male suffrage in autumn 1906, the major reform of the electoral law through the sanctioning of Emperor Franz Joseph I came into effect on January 26, 1907 . With the new Reichsrat election order, a total of 516 electoral districts were created, with one member being elected in each constituency with the exception of Galicia in the course of the Reichsrat election. The MP had to prevail with an absolute majority in the first ballot or in a runoff election. The constituency of Austria under the Enns 20 comprised the 10th Viennese district of Favoriten , without the border against districts III. and IX., the line Gundrunstraße, Gellertgasse, Gellertplatz, Quellengasse, Quellenplatz, Neilreichgasse, Gudrunstraße as well as the border to the municipal districts V. and IV limited part ( electoral district 19 ).

From the Imperial Council election in 1907 was Victor Adler ( Socialist Workers Party ) produced in the first round as the winner. He was also able to successfully defend his mandate in the 1911 Reichsrat election in the first ballot.

  3. 176 votes were cast for Hruza according to the Christian social workers' newspaper. It is probably a typographical error, since 4412 votes were written for Hawelka in all newspapers and, according to statistics, 146 votes remain for another Christian Social candidate.
