Elections to the Iranian Council of Experts in 1982
The 1982 elections to the Iranian Expert Council took place on December 10, 1982 and were the first elections to the Expert Council since the Islamic Revolution in Iran .

In the constituency of the Markazi province , there was a turnout of 132.24%. This is explained by the fact that in Iran the voter not only at his place of residence, but - z. B. as a visitor / pilgrim - may vote anywhere. The first expert council met on July 13, 1983; a commission drafted a statute for the expert council.
