French Polynesia coat of arms

The French Polynesia coat of arms is also depicted on the French Polynesia flag . It shows a circle, the upper part of which consists of sun rays. The lower part, on the other hand, consists of ocean waves. In the center is a boat with five figures, a symbol of the tradition and importance of fishing for the natives of French Polynesia.
