Norfolk Island coat of arms
The coat of arms of the Norfolk Island , is the state emblem of the Norfolk Island , an Australian outer area , shows in the blue heraldic shield with two white five-pointed stars an inserted white tip with a brown mountain from which a green Norfolk fir tree grows and at the roots of which there is an open book. Above the shield a toad head helmet turned to the right with blue and gold helmet covers . A golden, red-tongued lion grows out of the golden ship's crown on the blue-golden crest and holds a golden goblet with a lid in its paws.
The shield holders , on the right a golden red-tongued lion and on the left a gray kangaroo , each hold a gray anchor.
Under the shield is a blue ribbon with gold capital letters "* inasmuch *".
