Vestsjællands Amt | A lowered golden rafter divides the escutcheon in blue and gold. At the top of the gable of a (hypothetical) Viking house, there is a golden, outward-facing dragon head as an extension of each side of the rafter and three red posts at the bottom . The Viking castle Trelleborg is located in this region. | ||
Storstrom's Office | The blue escutcheon is divided by a narrow silver wavy bar. Above, a golden goose flapping its wings on a ball of the same color (from the wind vane of the " goose tower" of Vordingborg Castle ) and below two golden black- tongued lindworms (heraldic symbol of Lolland) facing each other . The goose represents the former Præstø Office and the Lindworms the former Maribo Office . | ||

The wall is reminiscent of Riberhus Castle . The lion heads come from the coat of arms of Denmark and illustrate the city of Ribe , which was one of the royal Danish enclaves . | ||
