The Wei He ( Chinese  渭河 , Pinyin Wèi Hé , W.-G. Wei Ho ) or Wei Shui ( 渭水 , Wèi Shuǐ ), alternatively also known as the Wei River , is the largest tributary of the Yellow River (Huáng Hé, 黃河  /  黄河 ).

The Wei He flows through the provinces of Gansu and Shaanxi . The old imperial city of Xi'an ( 西安 ) lies on its banks . The mausoleum of Han Yang Ling with two of the pyramids of China is located near the confluence of the Jing and the Wei .
