Wilhelm II of Limburg-Broich
Wilhelm II of Limburg-Broich (* around 1425; † September 1473 at Tomburg ) was a German nobleman. By descent and inheritance Count von Limburg and Herr zu Broich .

Count Wilhelm II of Limburg-Broich was born around 1425 as the son of Count Dietrich V of Limburg-Broich (* 1387–16 January 1444) and his wife Henrika von Wisch († 1459).
Life
After 18 days of siege and bombardment of Broich Castle in the late summer of 1443 by the troops of Cologne Archbishop Dietrich II von Moers , his ally Duke Gerhard von Jülich-Berg and other noblemen , Wilhelm's brother Count Heinrich fled from fear of the archbishop's revenge Lock. Count Wilhelm II, who was not involved in the feud, finally capitulated and three years later was enfeoffed with the rule of Broich in place of Heinrich .
In 1447 Count Wilhelm II was named as a bailiff in the office of Angermund .
After the death of his grandfather, Count Wilhelm I of Limburg-Broich, in February 1459, Wilhelm II, together with his brothers Heinrich and Dietrich VI. against Count Gumprecht II von Neuenahr claim to the county of Limburg , which on June 25, 1459 was also enfeoffed by Duke Gerhard von Jülich-Berg. However, since Gumprecht did not recognize this, there was a violent siege and conquest of Hohenlimburg Castle by troops of the three brothers. Further armed conflicts could only be settled in 1460 through an arbitration decision in which Cologne Archbishop Dietrich II von Moers had participated. He determined that the county as a future condominium governed by all parties, and civil peace should be closed.
In September 1473, Count Wilhelm II died of an epidemic during the siege of Tomburg and was buried on September 14th in the Minoritenkirche in Duisburg .
