Johann Karl August von Leiningen-Dagsburg (born March 19, 1662 at Broich Castle ; † November 13, 1698 ibid) was a German nobleman. By descent Count von Leiningen and by inheritance Herr von Broich , Oberstein and Bürgel .

Johann Karl August was a son of Count Georg Wilhelm von Leiningen-Dagsburg (* March 8, 1636 in Heidesheim ; † July 18, 1672 in Oberstein ) and his wife Countess Anna Elisabeth von Daun-Falkenstein (* January 1, 1636; † 4 June 1685 at Broich Castle)

On December 13, 1685 at Babenhausen Castle with Johanna Magdalena (* December 18, 1660 in Bischofsheim am Hohen Steg ; † August 21, 1715 in Hanau ), daughter of Count Johann Reinhard II of Hanau-Lichtenberg (1628–1666) and his Wife Palatine Countess Anna Magdalena von Pfalz-Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld (1640–1693).
