Wilhelm Schulte I.

Wilhelm Schulte I (born March 22, 1858 in Bathey ( Hagen district ); † September 13, 1920 in Neustadt an der Haardt ) was a German architect .

Life

After Wilhelm Schulte I had studied at the Technical University of Aachen , he worked as an employee of the diocesan master builder Hilger Hertel the Elder in Cologne and Münster , then from 1888 on with Franz Bernatz in Speyer . From 1890 he worked as a freelance architect in Neustadt an der Haardt. Among other things, 37 Catholic churches were built in the Palatinate region according to his plans .

His son Wilhelm Schulte II (1896–1977) was also an architect.
