Winsome Frazier (born August 2, 1982 in Miami , Florida ) is an American basketball player who has played as a professional since 2006, especially in Europe , including two seasons in the German basketball league with Telekom Baskets from Bonn .

Career

During his studies in his home country at Mississippi State University , Frazier played for the college team called Bulldogs in NCAA Division I. He was one of the best three-point shooters in the Bulldogs - he is co-holder of the record for the most successful three-pointers with eight in a game - as well as the best ball conquerors and is among the all-time top ten in these two categories in the record lists of this team.

After one season in Venezuela signed a contract in 2006 Frazier in Hungarian Szombathely . He led this team with 19 points and 7 rebounds per game to the semi-finals of the national championship. With his performance he could recommend for the German BBL and was obliged by the Telekom Baskets with whom he in the next two seasons to the finals at the German Championship penetrated, but in 2008 against Alba Berlin , and in 2009 against the EWE Baskets Oldenburg lost went. At the turn of the year he returned to his former club Falco KC-Szombathely for the rest of the season. For the 2010/11 season he then signed a contract in Koszalin, Poland . From there he moved to Greece to Marousi Athens for the 2011/2012 season . After a month he went to Cyprus and played for Keravnos Strovolou . With the club from Nicosia you lost after only one defeat in the regular season as the main round first in the play-offs, the final series and became runner-up. For the season 2012/13 Frazier moved to the Basketball Superliga Ukraine for the club Krywbas from Krywyj Rih . At the end of the unrest in Ukraine in 2013 and 2014 , Frazier, like many other foreign players, left the country in March 2014 and went back to Venezuela, where he had already played at the beginning of his professional career. In the LPB Venezuela he plays there for the Bucaneros from La Guaira .
