Płock Voivodeship (until 1793)
The Płock Voivodeship (Polish: Województwo Płockie , Latin: Palatinus Plocensis ) was an administrative unit in the Duchy of Greater Poland as part of the Kingdom of Poland or Poland-Lithuania . It was established in 1495 and existed until 1793. It was counted together with Rawa and the actual Mazovia to the Mazovia region ; the Sejm members of the three voivodships met regularly in Warsaw for a general sejmik . The seat of the voivode was the town of Płock .
In the course of the second Polish partition in 1793, most of the area came to Prussia , where it was integrated into the newly formed province of South Prussia .
After the Congress of Vienna , Płock was again the seat of a voivodeship .
