World Masters 2019
The World Masters 2019 is the 46th edition of the major tournament hosted by the British Darts Organization . It was held from October 23 to 28, 2019 in the Circus Tavern in Purfleet ( England ).
The defending champions are Adam Smith-Neale , Lisa Ashton , Jurjen van der Velde and Beau Greaves . Smith-Neale lost to Hannes Schnier in round 2 . John O'Shea secured the men's title . Ashton was able to successfully defend her title. Keane Barry won the boys, Katie Sheldon the girls . Except for Ashton, all the winners come from Ireland .

Format & qualification
There is no exact number of fixed players, so the number of rounds is also variable. This year a total of 8 rounds were held. The 16 best players of the BDO Invitation Table have been set. All other players were drawn.
The tournament will be played in the knockout system and in set mode. To win a set a player needs three legs. In the first four rounds, three sets are required to win a game. The quarter-finals will be played in the best of 7 mode and the semi-finals in the best of 9 mode. In the final, Best of 11 was played over the distance .

The tournament will be played in a knockout system . In the first four rounds and the quarterfinals, four legs are required to win a game. The semi-finals and the final will be played in the best of 9 legs mode.
