The World U-17 Hockey Challenge 2015 was the 23rd edition of the World U-17 Hockey Challenge , an ice hockey tournament for junior national teams in the U17 age group. From November 1 to 7, 2015, the competition took place in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John in the Canadian province of British Columbia . The gold medal was won for the first time by the Canada White team, which was formed last year and prevailed against the Russian selection in the final .
mode
The eight participants were divided into two groups of four teams each. In the group stage, each team played once against all other group participants and thus played three games. Then all participants contest the quarter-finals, which, like the semi-finals and the final, were played in the knockout system .
