Francisco Jiménez Tejada , stage name: Xisco (born June 26, 1986 in Palma de Mallorca ), is a Spanish football player . The striker is currently under contract with Peñarol Montevideo .
Career
society
Tejada started his professional career in July 2004 with Deportivo La Coruña . However, he could not really prevail and played only twelve games in the Primera División in the following two years . At the beginning of the 2006/07 season he was loaned to the second division UD Vecindario , who was relegated to Segunda División B at the end of the season . In the summer of 2007, Xisco returned to La Coruña. In early September 2008 Xisco moved to the English first division club Newcastle United, he signed a contract until June 30, 2013.
For the 2009/10 season he was loaned to Racing Santander for the entire season . After returning in the summer of 2010, he played in Newcastle for six months. In January 2011 he returned to Deportivo La Coruña on loan. After the team's relegation in the summer of 2011, he initially returned to England, but was loaned to Deportivo La Coruña for the entire season in August 2011. At the end of the season, Deportivo rose again to the Primera División.
