Rubén Iván Martínez Andrade (born June 22, 1984 in A Coruña ) is a Spanish football player in the service of UD Almería .

He played for the first team of FC Barcelona since the 2004/05 season and thus won two championships and the Champions League in the 2006 season. After playing only two competitive games for Barcelona and having been loaned to Racing de Ferrol in the meantime (without ever for the Team), he moved to Cartagena FC in 2008 . Two years later he moved to Málaga FC , where he was unable to assert himself as a regular player and was therefore loaned out to league rivals Rayo Vallecano in 2012. After Martínez was able to establish himself there in the loan phase, he moved permanently to Vallecano for the 2013/14 season and completed 34 of the 38 league games this season. In the 2014/15 season he moved to UD Almería .
