Tenderness on the Bus is a comedy show with a focus on musical elements. The program is moderated by the music duo " Zärtitäten mit Freunde " (Stefan Schramm and Christoph Walther) in their roles as Ines Fleiwa and Cordula Zwischenfisch .
Each episode focuses on a prominent musician. These guests will be picked up in a converted vintage bus. During the trip, Cordula Zwischenfisch and Ines Fleiwa conduct interviews with their guests. The musicians sing directly in the bus, the u. a. is equipped with a rehearsal room. There are also small appearances in unusual places such as B. a bus stop (season 3 episode 3 with Michael Patrick Kelly ) or in the allotment garden (season 1 episode 4 with Christina Stürmer ) instead. The musicians are usually accompanied musically by Fleiwa and Zwischenfisch, and the music lover “ Der Reelle Reentko ” is an integral part of the program .
The bus
In addition to the moderators and guests, the focus of the program is on a converted VÖV bus from the Mercedes-Benz brand . This is silver metallic with a blue front and is controlled by the bus driver "Torstne" in all episodes.
The front area is furnished with sofas, here interviews and small musical interventions with the guests take place. In the middle of the bus there is a kitchen and a small technical area for TV recordings, as well as a toilet and a small room for surprises. At the very back is the "smallest rolling rehearsal room" for making music together.

Awards and nominations
The third episode of the 4th season with guest Enno Bunger (first broadcast on October 19, 2016) was nominated for the Grimme Prize 2017.
In 2018, the program was recognized as one of the six most successful productions of 2017 for the ARD state broadcasters in the category " large" entertainment from 45 minutes as part of the ARD program award.
