The Central Administrative District ( Russian Центральный административный округ / Zentralny administratiwny okrug ) is one of the twelve administrative districts of the Russian capital Moscow .
location
The Central Administrative District is located in the central urban area of the city of Moscow. It encompasses the historic city center of Moscow, in particular the entire area within the garden ring and some adjacent areas. The central administrative district includes 10 districts.
description
The districts in the central administrative district are among the oldest in the city and are also a magnet for tourists to get to know the city. The Moscow River flows through the middle of the city district. The majority of the ministries and other state authorities of the Russian Federation, including the government building and the presidential administration, are also located here . There are numerous office buildings in many places in the district. Apartment and office property prices in the Central Administrative District are by far the most expensive in Moscow.
