Zuo Tianyou ( Chinese  左 天佑 , Pinyin Zuǒ Tiānyòu ; born July 7, 1995 ) is a Chinese ice hockey player who has been under contract with KRS-ORG Beijing in the Russian Wysschaja Hockey League since 2018 .

Career

Zuo Tianyou began his career as an ice hockey player with Beijing Ice Hockey, where he made his debut in the Chinese ice hockey league at the age of 15 . After two years, he moved to the team from Chengde in 2014 . From 2016 to 2018 he played in the United States for the Hampton Roads Whalers in the United States Premier Hockey League, which he won with his team in 2018. He was then signed by KRS-ORG Beijing , the Kunlun Red Star farm team founded in 2017 as KRS Heilongjiang , from the multinational Wysschaja Hockey League .

International

For China, Zuo Tianyou took part in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in 2013 , when he became the tournament's top scorer and thus made a decisive contribution to the promotion of his team, in Division III and in 2014 in Division II and in the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2014 and the Division III 2015 , when he was the best assists and after his compatriots Liu Qing and Li Hang, the third best scorer of the tournament. He also represented his colors at the 2015 Winter Universiade in Granada, Spain .

The attacker made his debut for the men's national team at the World Cup of Division II in 2018 when he scored the 1-0 opening goal in a 5-2 win over Belgium .
