This article is for both Disney Channel Games 2006 and Disney Channel Games 2007.

The Disney Channel Games is a weekly mini series on Disney Channel that airs during the summer on Disney Channel. Disney Channel stars compete in various activities until the end. Users are able to play games at the Disney Channel website and send their points to a team of their choice and their favorite player every week.

Disney Channel Games 2006

Disney Channel Games 2006 was first aired in the US on June 10, 2006 as part of Disney's So Hot Summer! 2006. It was later aired in the UK November 3, 2006, Australia on January 5, 2007, Scandinavia on January 27, 2007 and Latin-America on February 26, 2007. Hosted by The Suite Life of Zack and Cody's Brian Stepanek (Arwin) and Phill Lewis (Mr. Moseby) and also featured the voices of Kim Possible, Dr. Drakken, Jake Long, Fu Dog, Kuzco and Kronk as studio hosts.

Competitions

  • Obstacle course (won by the red team) - Players race to try and finish a balloon obstacle course.
  • Rock, Paper, Scissors Showdown (won by the blue team) - Players challenge each other in a Rock Paper Scissors Game.
  • Hamster Ball Relay (won by the green team) - Players race while inside a hamster ball.
  • Dunk Tank (won by the red team) - Players try to dunk players from another team.
  • Egg Toss/Alphabet Goop (won by the blue team) - Players toss eggs and try to catch them. Players reach inside a goop to find missing letters.
  • Mountain Climb Relay (won by the Green Team) - A relay that ends with climbing a balloon.
  • Quiz Show Relay (won by the blue team) - Players answer quiz questions and race in a relay.
  • Simon Says (won by the blue team) - Players follow instructions from presenter Brian Stepanek.

Disney Channel Games 2007

Template:Future television Following up from the Disney Channel Games 2006, Disney Channel has confirmed a second edition. High School Musical 2 and Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board are two of the Disney Channel Original Movies scheduled for the second edition. The games are hosted at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Games premiere June 15 2007. The teams will play for 4 charities: Boys & Girls Club, UNICEF, Make-a-Wish Foundation and Starlight Starbright Foundation.

The contestants in 2007 include almost all the same as last year, though Kay Panabaker, Anneliese van der Pol, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, and Zac Efron did not attend the event. New contestants this year will be Kiely Williams, Sabrina Bryan, Adrienne Bailon, Maiara Walsh, Brandon Baker, Jake T. Austin, Giulio Rubinelli, and Jason Dolley, as well as Disney Channel stars from around the world. There will also be a fourth team added, a Yellow team. Each team has 8-9 contestants. Miley Cyrus, Corbin Bleu, The Cheetah Girls, and the Jonas Brothers are going to perform. Miley Cyrus herself, her character Hannah Montana and Corbin Bleu will perform at the first epiosde, the Cermonies, which will air on June 15, 2007 at 8:00 Pacific Time.[1]

Arm Wrestling Classic mano y mano wrestling
Rock-Climbing Relay Three players from each team take a leg in a giant relay race where all three players take turns scaling the giant rock climbing wall.
Dance Dunk In this judged event players will have to show off their dancing skills and then their dunking skills on a modified (padded & shorter) basketball rim.
Double Obstacle Course
Dunk Booth
Extreme Rock-Paper-Scissors Players will compete 1-on-1 at classical Rock-Paper-Scissors; however, if it ends in a tie, the players will joust over it.
