Between historical landmarks belongs the Church of the holiest trio with lantern from 1778. Behind the church is reconstructed First World War memorial, which is covered by tufa rocks and decorated by copper hearth with inscription “To all men of good will”.
Above the church was standing a school but was destroyed by fire. Under the church we can see historical fire house which is going to be soon reconstructed by Alois Fischer.
The biggest natural sight is The Venušina Sopka (Venus’s Volcano) 643 metres. Originally, the Venušina Sopka was a stratovolcano (compositive volcano) formed by both explosive and effusive eruptions. It is burn out Quaternary volcano. On the tip of the hill is a flat crater and side craters with lava caves. Volcano eruptions remind only red and brown colored land. Two lavas stream steer on North-east. The tip of the volcano was destroyed by mining of volcanic ash. The volcano is composed of extrusive minerals especially basalt, which are covered by volcano ejects tufa and with appearance of volcanic bombs. Venušina Sopka is also interesting for mineralogists because of the presence of mineral olivine.
In village takes a part various cultural and sporting actions e.g. winter riding on bob sleight and sledges, carnival in spring, international woman’s day, seniors meeting and the May concert in church. In summer it is children’s day and theater productions, in autumn village fair and Mezina’s thistle run. Before Christmas are woman learning to make advent wreaths and for children is prepared St. Nicholas party and switching on the Christmas tree lights and concert in church.
The community monthly prints newspaper called Mezina’s Thistle.
In summer is Mezina purpose of visit for cyclist and mushroom pickers as well as for hiking tourists because of nearness of dam reservoir Slezská Harta which is fort of fishers and others visitors. In winter is also good for cross-country skiers.
There are also plans for built-up of sporting playground in upper part of village and resting places for cyclist and hiking tourists in lowland part.
On fields between Mezina and Venušina Sopka should be grown up golf course with golf club and sporting places for badminton, soft ball and places for bowling and billiards. In the nearest area should be built-up a hotel and auto camping.
The Mezina is very perspective village because of the nearness of city Bruntál, dam Slezská Harta and as well as a various country sides.
