Břidličná (formerly Czech Frýdlant nad Moravicí , German Friedland at Mohra ) is an approximately 3,600 inhabitants, in the Moravian Moravskoslezský kraj ( Czech Republic ).

Geographical location
Břidličná is twelve kilometers southeast of Bruntál on the border between the Hohem and Niederer Jeseníky , at the confluence of the Mohra ( Moravice in Czech ) with the Polička brook.
Districts
The localities Albrechtice u Rýmařova ( Olbersdorf ) and Vajglov ( Weigelsdorf ) belong to the municipality Břidličná nad Moravicí .
history
The city was first mentioned in a document in 1317.
On October 15, 1878 Friedland received a railway connection on the Mohra through the state railway Kriegsdorf – Römerstadt .
On December 1, 1930, the market town of Friedland an der Mohra had 1,654 inhabitants, on May 17, 1939 there were 1,751 and on May 22, 1947 1,466 inhabitants.
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Empire and belonged to the district of Römerstadt until 1945 . The Germans were expropriated and driven out in 1945 .
