ÍF Fylkir is an Icelandic football club from Reykjavík . The Fylkisvöllur stadium has a capacity of 4,000 spectators. The club colors are orange-black.

history

The club was founded in 1967. The first promotion to the top division was achieved in the 1989 season and, like the second in 1993 and the third in 1996, ended with direct relegation. For the year 2000 they qualified again and became runner-up. Since then they played in the highest Icelandic division Pepsideild until 2016 .
